Teaching steps:
Step1:Greetings
Step2:Revision
Revise the objects in class by using what’s this? What’s that? What are they? Is there ……?How many ……are there ……?
Step3:Presentation
Show a bird, and ask what’s this?where is the bird? Teacher may put it behind the door,on the desk,beside the window,under the desk,in front of the blackboard,between the desks,on the floor,in the tree etc.
Then show some flowers ,a dog,a banana…… ,practise like this.
Write the words on the blackboard as soon as saying them.
Read the words after the teacher.Then teacher ask Where is ……? Help the Ss answer. Then ask their own position in class. First teacher ask Ss answer, then do pair work. Then ask some Ss to say their own position in the class.Then ask them practise their dialogues. Like: where is ……? He/She is behind

Step4: Listening and checking
Teacher show four pictures of Part A of Page28. Ss listen to the tape, 这四张图片上没有人物位置,让学生听过以后将人物贴在正确的位置上。
Step5: Part B
Listen to the tape, and read after the tape. Ask Ss make sentences with these words if time necessary.
Step6: Writing
Show a small Bb, ask the Ss to do the exercises. Then check the answers.
Homework
1) Recite the new words.
2) Practise : Try to say the Position fluently.
